The Patterns: The patterns are written to be precise as well as easy to follow. Many of them contain pictures or diagrams to help with certain steps. Most are 2 pages or less so that they can be printed on one single piece of paper (conservation is important). The patterns are tested over and over before being published, though occasionally mistakes do still get overlooked - if you happen to spot any, please don't hesitate to point them out so that they may be corrected asap!

The Designer: Sylvia Heddwyn is a work at home mom with a beautiful son and a wonderful husband who mean the world to her. She is a ceaseless truth seeker, passionate earth lover, and creative DIY-er. She has been crocheting since she was 15 years old. She hopes people will see from her designs that crochet doesn't have to be all about "granny squares"! More than that, she just loves to crochet. It is a very relaxing, almost meditative activity, of which she never seems to tire.
